Research we have done has taken the form of field work in conflict-affected communities like Colombia, interviewing students in schools in countries like Turkey to see how far they are encouraged to understand 'the Other', or working together with experts in high-level consultations resulting in reports to senior policy makers and officials such as the UN Secretary-General.
